Barack Obama
As you may have already guessed, I support Barack Obama for President. Contrary to the naysayers out there, I did not make my choice lightly. I have been following the race for the presidency for well over a year now, reading, watching and listening to what the candidates and pundits alike have to say. I decided to support Barack because I think he is not only a skilled and able politician, but because I think that he has the unique and rare ability to inspire and unite people to rally to a cause for a higher purpose. If we are going to have any chance of putting the politics of the boomer generation behind us, a politics of division, bitterness, spite and hate, we need someone who can rally people from all walks and backgrounds to come together and work for the good of the nation. I know Barack is that person. I have seen it myself while volunteering for his campaign in Huntsville, Alabama, in the lead up to Super Tuesday this past February 5th. I have seen democrats and republicans, whites and blacks, straights and gays, men and women, young and old all coming together to support Barack because they believe in him and what he has to offer to our country and to the world. If you haven’t already, take the time to learn more about Barack Obama and join the millions across the nation who have hope that we can change the direction of this country for the better and provide a bright and prosperous future for the generations to come.
Yes we can!
